Our Story

Kubiya was founded out of pain
Amit Eyal Govrin, Kubiya’s CEO oversaw strategic DevOps partnerships at AWS as he repeatedly encountered industry leading DevOps companies struggle with similar pain-points: the Self-Service developer platforms they have created are only as effective as their end user experience. In other words self-service is not a given. Shaked Askayo, Kubiya’s CTO was managing a DevOps Platform and SRE team at a Fintech unicorn. His team was experiencing hundreds of requests every day, coming at odd hours, disrupting their day and requiring members to context switch constantly. They wanted to innovate but found themselves consumed with repeat tasks and low-level service requests that would be best left for self-service.Amit and Shaked knew then- Solve the End-User experience first.

The Solution
Shaked created a likeness of himself in the form of a Slackbot, where it fielded all incoming developer requests and responded using pre-configured workflows to alleviate 80% of the trending requests from all channels. The thesis was validated, and the inspiration behind Kubiya was born.

The Present and Future
Today Kubiya is deployed in dozens of customer environments and is proven at generating LLM-powered workflows, establishing a fun and engaging end-user experience where developers and Devops alike can rejoice in their time and effort saved. But the world of LLMs is rapidly evolving and customer expectations are changing with the times. Kubiya’s next generation is the evolution of customer feedback, deep domain expertise, as well as timely use of cutting edge innovation. Try it to believe.
